SMOOTH AND UNIFORM SEALING OF THE ENTIRE SURFACE

Covering silage is all too often a time-consuming and labour-intensive job. With the patented AgriSeal system we guarantee smooth and uniform sealing of the entire surface of the silo. Thanks to the airtight cover you can protect silage from pests and rot or mould. Furthermore, the innovative system is highly efficient and time-saving. The use of auto tyres is unnecessary and closure and opening is much faster.

AgriSeal is made of high-grade fabric that is tear-resistant and resistant to all weather conditions, so you enjoy a high-quality product with a long life, worry-free. In addition, the system with belts and pipes has been developed so that you can firmly tension both sides of the canvas.

This way Cobefa offers a complete system and supplies both concrete silo components as well as the AgriSeal covering system as a one-stop-shop. AgriSeal can however be ordered separately; it need not be in combination with our other components.

THE ADVANTAGES
OF AGRISEAL®

LABOUR-SAVING

AgriSeal® canvases are especially designed to cover silage efficiently and easily. Thanks to the simple assembly you can work very quickly, and the use of auto tyres or silo bags is a thing of the past.

AIRTIGHT

The patented AgriSeal® sealing technology ensures completely airtight coverage of the silage. With this system the silo is uniformly sealed over the entire surface. This counteracts rotting and mould processes and pests cannot enter the feed.

HIGH-QUALITY

AgriSeal® canvases are made of sturdy, tear-resistant fabric so a long life is guaranteed. The fabric is also resistant to all weather conditions, a real added value in a changeable climate.

HIGHER YIELD

Because the silage has completely airtight coverage, the superior quality of your silage is ensured. With a consistent and balanced ration you benefit from healthier cattle and a higher yield.

HOW DOES
AGRISEAL WORK?

The canvases can optionally be attached with a hook to a stainless steel tension anchor in the wall. This is recommended for silos that are not completely full, for example for the first mowings of grass.

The canvases are tensioned with the supplied belts and stainless steel tensioners.

The canvases are tensioned to cover everything completely protected from light.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS

What is supplied in the AgriSeal® package?

The package includes everything you need to get to work yourself. Per canvas you receive 3 galvanised pipes, 2 belts with loop and 2 tensioners with loop.
If desired, you can also order 2 belts with J-hook per canvas to attach this to the silo wall.

Are the canvases resistant to all weather conditions?

AgriSeal® is made of an exceptionally high-quality fabric that optimally protects your silage from hail, rain, wind, birds, livestock and pests.

What if I don’t have stainless steel anchors in my silo wall?

Then you can still use AgriSeal®. For existing silos the canvases can be put in place as indicated on the 'How does it work?' page. These canvases are preferably attached to the silo wall so that they do not pull loose when tensioned. This can happen when the silo is not completely full, for example for the first mowings of grass. For completely full silos the canvases stay firmly in place, even without anchoring to the silo walls.

Does agricultural plastic need to go under the canvas?

For optimal protection from outside influences and to maintain the quality of your silage, we strongly recommend laying agricultural plastic on the silage first. Then the AgriSeal® canvas goes on top.

Do I need to provide agricultural plastic myself?

Agricultural plastic is not supplied in the order of an AgriSeal® canvas.

Can I use AgriSeal® for existing silos?

You can definitely use AgriSeal® to cover an existing silo. Take a look at the 'How does it work?' page for the installation. Ideally these canvases are attached to the silo wall so that they do not pull loose when tensioned. This can happen when the silo is not completely full, for example for the first mowings of grass. For completely full silos the canvases stay firmly in place, even without anchoring to the silo walls.
